The Virgin of Guadalupe (sometimes called "the goddess of the Americas") is honored on December 12 by millions of norteamericaños from the deserts of Mexico to the blueberry barrens of Washington County. With 39 million Latinos in the United States, what does she have to tell us about race, class, and religion in our culture? What might she have to offer UUs living in the "whitest" state in the country?

Interweaving familiar Christmas carols and favorite Christmas stories, this traditional UU Belfast Christmas Eve Service aims to instill a festive spirit in all.
