DECEMBER SERVICES

DEC 5

Would You Like to Hold the Baby?

given by children of our church

This service is an intergenerational pageant presentation detailing the birth of Jesus Christ from a UU perspective. Many beautiful songs are sung by our choir during this entertaining service. Bring your camera!

DEC 12

How Much Is Enough?

given by Joanne Moesswilde and Coleen O'Connell

In our materialistic culture, especially during this holiday season, we need to ask ourselves how much is enough for us to take from the earth’s buffet?  If we are to live our UU principles, a simpler and less consumeristic life is required.

DEC 19

A Season of Laughter

Given by Kate Braestrup

Some of you may not feel too jolly this holiday season... with the war in Iraq, the recent election, the humanitarian crisis in Africa and other catastrophes near and far, it may seem like a season for fear. Which shall be precisely the point. … Ho Ho Ho!

DEC 24

Christmas Eve

given by Sumner Roberts and Jason Bannister

This year's Christmas Eve service will be a delightful program featuring traditional carols and colorful holiday readings.  Join us on this special night and share the magic of the holiday season.

DEC 26

A Different Kind of Christmas Story

given by Tim Wilson

Tim invites us to step back, take a deep breath, and consider a slightly different narrative with a special music offering by Amy Robbins-Wilson.

JAN 2

Breaking in the New Year

Given by Jane Dopheide

This service centers around the Stick Ceremony, which invites us to reflect on letting go and beginning anew.  Everyone is invited to bring a stick of choice to add to the basket.
