Ingathering Sunday
led by our minister, Pam Gross
We will celebrate our
return from summer travels with the annual Water Service. You are invited to collect waters from
your summer journeys and bring a sample (and perhaps a story) to share in
our service. If you bring a small
container you will be able to take some of our communal water home with
you.

Be A Giraffe: Stick Your
Neck Out!
led by Patricia
Born Smith
For twenty-five years, the Giraffe Project in Langley,
Washington has been recognizing ordinary people who do extraordinary things
and inspiring others to “stick their necks out” for the common good. What makes someone a “giraffe hero,” and
what are the criteria for this kind of moral courage? Pat Born Smith, from Liberty, is
semi-retired from the Institute for Global Ethics. She and her husband winter in south Texas
in their motor home, where they work-camp at an RV park.

Risky Business
led by our minister, Pam Gross
Unitarian

than certainties. So, how do we live
our faith in a world that seems increasingly concerned with offering
answers and certainty?
