The Covenant of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast affirms that that our church’s ministry runs through all we do. As we honor Unitarian Universalism’s Seven Principles, UUCB encourages one’s search for truth and meaning collectively and individually in several ways. Sunday Worship Services inspire and engage through music, readings, sermons and talks. Usually two services a month are led by Rev. Deane Perkins and two by visiting speakers or members of the UUCB community. Sometimes the service is followed by a Congregational Conversation about the topic or theme of the service.
Small Group Ministry brings together small groups of UUCB members on a regular basis in a facilitated sharing of individual beliefs, thoughts and perspectives about a given subject. They are an excellent way to get to know other people and yourself and make spiritual connections. Adult Life Span programs include discussion series, workshops, and educational events that encourage the personal, spiritual, ethical, and intellectual growth of the congregation and the larger community.
