At 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, we will celebrate the Summer Solstice with a meditative walk at the Labyrinth at Belfast Common. Judith Simpson, M.P.A.,veteran Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher, will lead us. Of the many forms of meditation used by religions and secular folks alike, the labyrinth is one of the oldest. We will speak of history and also of the many possibilities to be gained from walking this labyrinth so close to home. Do you know any labyrinth history? Bring what you know or a poem or reading to share quietly. Gather with your own coffee, tea and/or a snack. Contact: Kathy Kreamer, email hidden; JavaScript is required.
